Charlotte Mae Lanier

Charlotte Mae Lanier, 85 of Irving, TX passed away into the loving arms of our heavenly Father on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born on January 3, 1937 in Harlingen, Texas to Bryan and Trudy Stubbs. They both preceded her in death along with her husband Floyd Lanier; and sons, Allen and Kelly Suckla. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Irving for many years and recently attended Congregation of YHWH in Irving. Charlotte was a beautiful lady and was a model in her younger years as well as farming in Colorado before making her home in Irving. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, hosting family events and going to church activities. Charlotte loved her family and cherished her time she got to spend with her grandchildren. She leaves behind her daughter; Tracy Buck, sons; Tony Suckla, Shane Suckla and his wife Cheryl; brother Richard Pate; 7 grand children, multiple great-grand children and many friends. The family will receive guests from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20th at Chism-Smith Funeral Home with her funeral service following visitation at 1:00 p.m. also at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
