Camren James Jackson, 38, of The Colony, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022. He was born in Riverside, California on February 4, 1984, the son of James and Kimberly Jackson. Camren joined The United States Navy right after high school. Where he served in the following: Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom Last Duty Station/ Joint Expeditionary Base Little creek-Fort Story. He medically retired as an EOD Chief and would tell anyone it best job he had every had. On December 07, 2002 he married the love of his life, Rachel Delp. Camren loved guns and enjoyed building and shooting them. He was a movie junkie and couldn't wait for the next great flick to come out. He enjoyed fixing things around the house and loved to use all his power tools; a date to Home Depot with his wife was a fun night out for him. Camren loved going to his children's sporting events and up until the end never missed a game. He was their biggest fan. Camren’s children where his heart and he loved teaching them and helping them grow into the amazing humans they are today.
When Camren was Team Lead and an Instructor in the Navy, he was often instructed to take the team he was training, up in the plane to do a routine jump. Well on this one jump, Camren decided to take it upon himself to have a little fun. Since Camren was the Team lead the team had to follow his orders, so Camren told his team to strip down naked including himself in nothing but their boots. The thing that Camren didn't know was the day he decided to play this little prank, there were some very important people waiting for them on the ground who were touring the base of the training facility the jump was taking place at. You can just imagine the looks on Camren and his teams face as they were coming in for a landing with nothing but their boots and chutes. Camren thought he was going to be reprimanded, but he only got a small talking to, because in all honesty his Commanding Officer thought it was the funniest thing he'd ever seen. This story is just one of the many that shows who Camren was as a person. He was comical, mischievous, rambunctious, remarkable person, and was such a blast to be around.
Camren loved Jesus and knew by the grace of God he was saved.
