Bridget Dawn Bales

August 4, 1973 — October 22, 2023

Bridget Dawn Bales-Holt, born on August 4th, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 22nd, 2023. She was the beloved daughter of Laverne Richard Davis and Carolyn Bernice Davis. Bridget grew up in Irving, Texas, and completed her high school education in Irving, TX.

Bridget dedicated her professional life to her work at Jr. Demolition, where she demonstrated unwavering commitment and a strong work ethic. However, it was in her personal life that she truly thrived and found her greatest joy. Her passion for going on cruises was known to all who knew her, and she often spoke about how she would have embarked on a million more if given the opportunity.

On February 18th, 2000, Bridget married the love of her life, Thomas Holt, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Her favorite thing to do was to explore the world with Thomas, discovering new places and experiencing the beauty of different cultures.

Bridget is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Holt; her devoted daughter, Ashley Bales; her stepdaughter, Christy Hardin; her stepson, Thomas Holt Jr.; and six adoring grandchildren. She leaves behind her sister, Brenda Mitchell, and her sisters, Lori Motley, Kim Erick. Bridget’s nephews, Charlie Mitchell, Dylan Mitchell, Ryne Mitchell, and Josh Bales will always remember the special place she held in their lives. Her nieces, Hailey DuBey, Melissa Sullivan, Amber Wackett, and Megan Hayward, as well as eight great nieces and nephews, all cherished their time with Bridget. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Raymond Holt, and sister-in-law, Karen Zimmerlee and Nancy Monaghan.

Bridget was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dovie Bales, and grandfather, Alfred Bales. She also mourned the loss of her nephew, Christopher Eric, her mother-in-law, Ruth Holt, and sister-in-law, Brenda Holt.

Bridget will be remembered for her zest for life, her love of adventure, and her warm, inviting smile that could brighten anyone's day. She touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

As we say our final goodbyes, let us remember Bridget's love for life and her passion for exploration. In her memory, may we all find the courage to pursue our dreams and embark on new adventures, just as she did with a heart full of love and a spirit of adventure. Bridget Dawn Bales-Holt's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
