Billy Wayne Large

Billy Wayne Large, age 65, of Irving, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022. He was born on April 1, 1956, in Floydada, Texas the son of Billy Ray and Ila Faye Large. Billy grew up in Irving, Texas where he made his home and built his family. On November 9, 1982, he married the love of his life, Laurie. Billy loved to play the guitar and watch baseball. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Ray and Ila Faye Large, brothers, Benny Joe Large, and Bobby John Large. He leaves behind his loving wife, Laurie Large; children, Billy Ventrca, Donald Large, Heather Coit and husband, Merel; grandchildren, Breanna Coit, Maddison Coit, Deven Coit; sisters, Lana Todd, Lovera Wragg, Helen Hughes, Carolyn Wieschhaus, Kathy Ewing; among numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, February 16th from 1-3 pm at Chism-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on February 16th at 3:00 pm following the visitation.
