Betty Louise Turner

Betty Louise Turner was born on September 20, 1930 in Santa Ana, CA to David Henderson Struthers and Agnes Henrietta Skog. She married Richard Elvis Turner on November 29, 1952 in West Point, KY while both were serving in the Army. She served as a dismounted courier and clerk typist. Betty and Dick had 3 daughters: Chris (Ken) Blais, Terry (Gary) McClenny and Jane (Rick) Shurley. Betty had 9 grandchildren: Kirk, Keith, Mika, Onnie, Jacob, Logan, David, Jonathan and Lisa. She had 15 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Dick, her brother David and her sister Bonnie. She was the last of her generation of 22 cousins. Betty died at the Clyde W Cosper Texas State Veterans home on July 28, 2022 and will be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
