Obituary Betty M. Moffat, 92, of El Paso, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2020. She was born on February 18, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of John and Mary McNeil. Betty fell in love with a wonderful man and knew from the moment they met she wanted to be a Moffat. Her and William G. Moffat were married on September 29, 1947. Betty was a stubborn and fiery redhead who somehow managed to always get her way, until she had grandchildren. Her life suddenly became all about making Barbie clothes, making sure they were always dressed to impress, but most of all letting them know how loved they were. If Betty wasn't cooking something tasty, sewing up something fabulous, or entertaining her friends; she was showing everyone her precious great grandchildren. Betty loved to play cards, travel with her husband and, watching endless reruns of The Golden Girls. Sometimes she would even bend a little and let Bill get in a few episodes of M*A*S*H. She touched numerous hearts in one way or another and she will be deeply missed. The family ask that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Smile Train at www.smiletrain.org, The American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice.
