Andrew Garza

On Thursday, May 6, 2021, Andrew Garza, our beloved brother and father of two passed away at the age of 64 years. Andrew was born on February 2, 1957 in San Juan, TX to Manual and San Juana (Vega) Garza. Andrew grew up in Grapevine, Texas and served in the United States Army. He retired early so he could do the things he truly enjoyed in life, like traveling and spend quality time with his family.

Andrew is preceded in death by his father, Manuel Garza; brothers, Gabriel, Arnulfo, and Fidel Garza.

He is survived by his two children, Andrew Lee Garza and Priscilla Harvey; mother, San Juana Vega; four brothers; six sisters; eight grandchildren; among numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A Visitation will be held Monday, May 10, 2021 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Chism-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 403 S. Britain Rd., Irving, Texas. Graveside services with Military Honors will be on Monday, May 17th at 11:00 am at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
