Alice Elizabeth Tillery

Alice Elizabeth Tillery, 74, of Dallas, passed away with dignity and grace on March 24, 2023. She was born September 8, 1948in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Cleo Mable Westbrook and Winfred Lee Gamel.
Alice married Charles Tillery in 1970 and gave birth to their only son, Stephen Edward Tillery in 1971. Alice and Charles divorced thirteen years later and remained good friends until Charles' passing
Alice was very proud of her family and loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, even if they weren't doing so well. She is survived by her son, Stephen Tillery; daughter in law Melissa; granddaughters Aubrey and Hailey; brother Grant Gamel; sister-in-law Suzy; Cousin Pam Westbrook; nephew Scott Sutherland and his wife Berlande; nieces Briana and Kristen Gamel; and great niece and nephews Janelle, Lucas, and Isaiah.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Winfred Lee Gamel and Cleo Mable Westbrook; ex-husband Charles Tillery; and sister Janice Gamel.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 31, at 2pm at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, Texas.
